The weather here is getting warmer by the day ,planted out the tomatoe seedlings also planted some herbs ,having to water every day now and its not even to hot yet people say when it gets very hot i will have to water twice a day ,,arr well nothing better to do!

Had to vist by a german guy this week he owns elephants in lois and gives rides to toursits.he comes to europe to get away from the heat over there this time of the year,also somebody came who wants some space at falconblanco to turn old car tyres plant pot and the like (no chance) we have spent monthes clearing up the place .

Hi got lots done on the plot this week got in some of the seedling mainly black&green kale red cabbage ,swishcard,i also setup a watering syestem it does not work right yet not enough water coming thought i think i will have to put a bigger outlet on the barrel,i also changed the way i put the plants in instead of putting down a bed of compost which is full of weeds ,i just put compost in with each seedling should be a lot less weeding.

As for there at falconblanco there  are lots of new kittens and chicks trying to get a pic of the chicks is almost impossable when get within 10 meters of them they run so fast ,they must be born with rockets up there asses,weather has been up and down(never cold) but one day sunny the next day cloulds .

more eggs came in this week we must have getting on for a thousand now in think we will have to compost a lot of good eggs ,also lots of watermelons but the chicken love them they eat all the inside and leave just a thin skin ,neat the way they do it.we also got 1 of the apartment ready for some poeple whom are coming next week.panited and cleaned they are only staying a week but it will do for the future when other poeple come.

Hi i have finely finshed clearing the plot as pics show i also planted some palms along the wall ,they came in the back of the van 2 couple of monthe ago and had been just left they might grow but if not they will look nice for a while , i think the chickens have found a way of getting to the carrots there dos not seem to be as many seedling there as the last time i looked also post pics of the patatoes going mad now after the rain on friday ,it rain heavy nearly all day which was good for the plants ,when it comes to heavy rain here i was told that the pool which i behind and above my apartment does not have an over flow pipe ,so when there is very heavy rain it comes over the sides of the pool and floods the apartment ,i went up to look ,,,the water was almost up to the top of the pool ,it there a pump i asked (i hope ) NO! it has to be sciphoned off ,so i spent sunday filling barrels to save the water which were a long way away 3 pipes stuck together started to put hoses together for water down on plot on 7 hoses so for (that will take some sucking )will finsh some time this week,, well thats FALCONBLANCO only me left here now apart from the guy who owns the place and his freind the other volenteer left saturday  .lots of people want to come but he is getting very choosey ,a good thing i think.could do with some poeple to eat all the food crates of everything came in this week ,what do you do with hundres of apples you can only drink so much apple juise and make pies.better than having none

Hi it's been a quite week here falconblanco on the gardening front.cleared a bit more of the plot but the last third is the hardest as load of rubish had be dumped there it took ages just to get to the ground will dig it over sometime this week.seedling are doing well as in pics ,well all but the tomatoes and peppers which seem a bit slow given the heat wierd!

since is was a bit slow i built a sanua from a lifeboat capsule ,,,we have about 12 of them why! well thats this place .not got the steam quite right yet but it will be nice when it's working right as we have no hot water but we start to address that tomorrow as we are going to try and get the solar panels on the roof but we have to handball them up then try and install them into  very old pipework, might take a long time, will be interesting.

Hi well another week has gone at falconblanco the weather is a bit up and down but never cold ,i put up some new pis of the garden plot,i am getting there! some of the seeds are starting to show up but the tomatoes and pepper seeds seem to be a bit slow so i have put some in an old chest frezzer were they will get a bit more heat ,well lets wait and see .i also put up a few more pic of falconblanco as you can see a lot of trees and plants every where .i spent a lot of the week cleaning up an area they call the plallet houses it is were they have started to build some cabin out of plallets 1 or 2 are finshed but another 2 are not the poeple who started them are long go i wanted to tidy it up becauce it is a nice part of this place which will be great in the hot weather becauce the shade from the trees.no one else has come to stay yet ,but a couple came around to look and said they would like to move in at the end of the month lets wait and see ,some more poeple here would be nice as there is loads of space to grow what ever you want.and help with the other little jobs around the place .

This week i have put up pics of the plot on falconblanco on which i am going to grow the veg ,the pics are  before and after i started to clear the plot ,The ground is not to bad there is a lot of rocks i think the ground is limestone with a small amount of soil on top i will have to use a lot of compost mixed in the soil to grow anything.,but we have lots of it so no problem The fence in the pic is to keep the chickens out as they have full run of falconblanco ,one good thing is i do not think birds will be a problem (there hoping) .As you may see in the pic there is a great backdrop to the plot of the mountains I also put up pics of the place were we starting off the seeds up out of the way of the chickens ,it works fine you just pour water in the tray and everything get a drink ,i think it came from a butchers its stainless steel with drain holes at one end,the tubs in the back ground are 3 tubs of carrots

.The plot i am doing is only a faction of land that could be cultivated on falconblanco with a bit of luck we will get more people whom would like to do it.There has be talk f more people coming but we will wait and see .If they want to do it or not thats ok its the point of this place .A place to live in peace.

I also put a pic of my lunch one day just in case you think commune food is a bit iffiy what you see is quite normal it all veg but thats ok it good for you.

Hi i have got to falconblanco at last ,myself and eric can start on the garden .A bit of histroy about the gardens at falconblanco we think it has not been done for a few years so me (carpintero) and eric are starting from new which is a good thing in think ..Ok we have planted 50 patatoes in what was a compost heap ,if think that  wastefull there is plenty of compost heaps here some of the pics i have posted are just 4 of them 2 ready to use 1 almost and the last is the one we have just started they are each about 4m x 12m LOTS of great compost also posted is a pick of riddle we have made to grade some compost to fill pots for seedling ,works great 20 mins and we have a wheelbarrow full .i also put a pic of the one of the buildings here ,it the kitchen 

We also got a van full of food all veg and fruit boxes of peppers,tomateos,apples and much more, eating like kings !
